Spent 3 nights in Banksia cottage with my family of 5. Cathy, Joanne and Vincent were very accommodating and helpful in helping us settle in. Daily animal feeding of the farm animals were the main highlights for my 4 and 2 year old little ones. Kids were allowed to get into the chicken coop and pick freshly layed eggs daily. Truly a fantastic learning experience for them. We could also take hikes around the farm outside of feeding time. Farm dog is very friendly and played fetch a lot with my kids. Cottage was very comfortable and cozy with all basic necessities you need for cooking and laundry. The area has no wifi or limited connectivity with data but oh wells we wanted time to connect with nature, the animals and our family so it was all good. We were surrounded by amazing vineyards, cafes, chocolate factory, Margaret river town all within 5 to 15mins drive away to visit during the afternoons. Night drive into the farm can be tricky as it’ll be pitch dark so if you’re heading out try and get back before sunset. Playgrounds and cottage BBQ pits looked dated and poorly maintained which is probably the only bummer. However, there’s plenty things to do, hike to keep the kids occupied. Would definitely recommend families to take your kids here.

Joanne and Austin were fantastic hosts! They're friendly, accomodating, helpful, welcoming and insightful! If i could give more stars than i would. The playground is right in the middle of all the cottages. The cottages were well equipped from basic cooking needs to laundry detergents! Plenty of toys, dvds and things for the kids to do. The animals were obviously the biggest hit for my kids (4 & 2). Thank you so much for having us, you have such a beautiful property and we will definitely be back again! Thank you! Bree and the kids ♥️

We spent a weekend here recently in Blue Wren cottage with my daughter, her husband and their two little girls. The accommodation was simple but very much as described. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the BBQ. Very peaceful cottage in a great location for visiting the south west. But the highlight was the animal feeding time with our 2 year old granddaughter! The kids' play area was also a great hit. We will definitely be back with our granddaughters. And both Jo and Farmer Aussie were delightful and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We stayed in the Blue Wren cottage with 3 small kids. The cottage had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Space was fantastic and the property is on beautiful bushland. Animal feeding with Willie and Gail was the best - they’re great at what they do and so friendly. They even gave us a hand with our twins during the feeding. Joanne is lovely and made sure everything was ok. The cottage had toys, books and games and the playground is brilliant. The property is close to Dunsborough, Busselton and Margaret River (not far from the chocolate factory!) so a nice central location to see the region.
