I spent a week at Basildene Manor. The restored mansion is stunning as are the grounds. The staff were very friendly and never too busy - making you feel right at home from the start. My room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The daily afternoon tea was appreciated and a great way to meet other travellers. I have stayed at many of the Accor Club properties and this would have to be the nicest! I would happily stay there again.

Our family had the best experience at Basildene Manor. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed with the professional and very friendly ladies in reception. They were so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay extra special and help us with anything we needed. The location and beauty of Basildene Manor itself is incredible. The grounds were so well kept and just gorgeous. The rooms were were spacious and beautifully decorated (we stayed in the newer section.) The old world charm of the Manor was delightful. Would highly recommend staying at Basildene Manor. Very impressed from start to finish and a stay here will not disappoint! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My parents and I have stayed at the Manor twice now and both times have been a great experience. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well kept and the decor is tasteful and beautiful. The location is excellent, only a short drive to the main town. The rooms are clean and tidy and the views are pretty. The morning breakfast is a delight, both the continental and the cooked options. We will likely stay here again the next time my parents come to visit!

We have been visiting Basildene Manor for over 20 years. Throughout that time the standard of the rooms has been excellent, especially with the recent upgrades. Staff are always excellent with Daniela ever present with an array of other friendly staff, including Becki who has been so supportive over our last two visits. The grounds are so well maintained and always worth a wander around to view and smell the various flowers. For us it is our home away from home where we go for our special birthdays and anniversary’s as well as our annual holidays.
