Conto's is a large, sheltered and well-appointed campground nestled within shady peppermint woodland, close to Conto Beach and other National Park attractions.
Conto's Campsite has 116 camp sites nestled amongst the coastal peppermint woodland. The campsite has a range of site types, catering for tents through to sites suitable for large caravans and camper trailers. The Cape to Cape walking track is directly accessible from the campground and nearby Conto Beach is a great place to relax, or to go surfing or fishing. The coastal headland scenery is stunning and most of it is accessible to two-wheel-drive vehicles.
Generators are not permitted.
Campfires are usually permitted between April 15th and November 30th - in the provided fire rings only - but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood.
When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Campers' own liquid or gas fuel BBQs, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).

What a great spot. Large sites shaded and in the sun(for solar). Really good facilities and camp kitchen. Very friendly helpful hosts. It's close to wineries, restaurants and everything that the region offers including Boranup and the beach. Well worth a stay

National Park, we stayed here due to no availability in the caravan parks in Margaret River unfortunately we felt $40 a night a bit expensive for drop toilets without lights (solar power lights would be nice) Easy drive in, bins provided at the entry to dispose of your rubbish, was clean other campers were friendly, the care taker is easy going comes around on his 4 wheeler to check everyone has booked and paid!

It's a campground, has long drop toilets, some BBQ shelters, Picnic table at each site. Some loops have fire pit on sites, only allowed in fire season. 116 bays, in 7 main loops, must book online, usually DBCA Ranger or Camp Hosts on-site. Great forrest feel for camping. A 15 minute stroll to the cliff top for ocean and sunset views and bit of a hike down to fishing and surfing beach. Can have rips and strong currents for swimmers. Can drive on ungraded gravel road to get to beach.

This is my favourite campground in Margaret River region. I camped here alone last night for the first time. At check in, the Quando area volunteer saw I was a lone female. In my booking details he has, it is obvious I am staying alone.
For some reason which I cannot understand, at 8:30pm, the camp volunteer for the night found it appropriate to shine his light around and in my car (where I was sleeping). This was absolutely terrifying and unnecessary for him to come into my site and do this to my car. I don't sleep in tents when I camp along for fear of experiencing frightening encounters like this.
I will still be back because it's truly a magical place to watch the sunset over the beach. Just unlucky to have an idiot camp volunteer, paralyse me out of a good nights sleep.
