Mammoth Cave is a natural time capsule, home to ancient fossil remains of long-extinct Megafauna. A fascinating audio tour in several languages allows visitors to explore the majestic chambers at their own pace. This is more than a cave - it is a complete nature experience.
Visitors to this incredible cave system come face-to-face with a 50,000-year-old ‘'zygomaturus' jawbone embedded in the cave wall. They also gain insight from an audio tour available in English, French, German, Malay, and Mandarin.
Mammoth Cave is a unique window into the past, with over 10,000 fossils that once accumulated inside the cave. Upon excavation, many of these fossils were found to be remains of Australian Megafauna (giant animals) that became extinct around 46,000 years ago.
A visit to Mammoth Cave finishes with a winding walk through a beautiful marri forest. The trail is lined with flourishing green foliage, towering trees and wildflowers during winter and spring. This is more than a cave - it is a complete nature experience.

Such a wonderful experience. The self-guided tour was great because you can go at your own pace. My partner and I took about 2hours to slowly explore the cave and take the longer-return walk. Well worth the visit.

What an amazing experience to visit this natural cave!
This cave is self-guided by using the headphone which has many languages to choose from. You can spend time as much as you want in the cave. The stairs are a bit narrow and can trip you over easily. Must walk carefully!

Loved every minute!! Super accessible and easy to manoeuvre in. The cave is stunning, you could easily spend hours in there and not get bored. The kids loved the fossils and listening to the audio guide. Lovely and helpful staff.

An amazing experience, self guided tour with headphones to log into each recorded information section.
An easy walk through the cave and 160 steps to the exit, I would happily go back again.
