Point Matthew

Star 5.0 (1 Google review)

Point Matthew beach is a beautiful narrow strip of beach south of Augusta township, on the road to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
White sandy beach and rock pools are accessible at low tide, and the car parks dotted along the drive allow you to stop and get out to admire the beautiful views, including that of the lighthouse itself. The point is named after Matthew Flinders, who anchored off here in 1802.
