The Farm & Boneyards
To the east of Cape Naturaliste lie stunning beaches with clear aqua water and beautiful soft sand, quite protected from the buffeting south-westerly winds. There are several easily accessible surf spots here, with the best being The Farm and Boneyards. Both offer great left and right-handers that can pack a punch!
To access these spots, park at the end of Bunker Bay Road and walk south along Bunker Bay.
The Farm is a sheltered beach break that has inconsistent surf, best in the winter months. It very rarely gets crowded here and it works well in offshore winds from the southwest with a west-southwest swell.
Boneyards is a sheltered sandbar break with reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Spring is the best time of year here, and unlike The Farm, it can get crowded. The best waves at Boneyards occur when the wind is from the south and swell from the west.
