Backstories Margaret River

Backstories is a multi-sited storytelling festival located in the suburbs of Western Australia.

Presented by Arts Margaret River in partnership with Centre for Stories, the Margaret River event will be held in a private backyard (5 minutes drive from town), with the exact location emailed to ticket holders.

You’ll spend a lazy afternoon with friends and family in the comfort of your ‘neighbour’s’ backyard, listening to three trained storytellers and entertained by local musicans.  Pack a picnic, bring something to sit on, and put your mingling hat on – it’s going to be a rippa arvo!

For those who can afford it, pay-what-you-feel ticketing is available starting at $10.00. Ticket sales mean that we can pay the storytellers, musicians, and other artists who make our Backstories festival possible.
