From the depths of the meeting point between the Southern and Indian Oceans to the majestic and beautiful Blackwood River, wild and wonderful Augusta calls to the spirit of the sea this June long weekend at the 2023 Augusta Whalesong Festival.
The Whalesong Festival is a celebration for all to experience and enjoy what the Southwest has to offer in its natural beauty and community spirit.
Whalesong Festival and Blessing of the Fleet (Main Event), Sunday 4 June at 9am – 2pm (FREE event)
An array of interactive and immersive events awaits, with the Main Festival Day hosting stalls of artisan crafts, fashion, jewellery, artwork, and regional produce while taking in amazing kite displays. Try your skills on a skiff, visit the big red fire trucks, and meet the awesome Emergency Service Volunteers. Get close to deadly reptiles and sample great food and coffee.
