Busselton Jetty March Marathon

Busselton Jetty invites you to be a part of History by joining this March as they re-create and celebrate the amazing 579km feat that John Bussell and the Save Our Busselton Jetty Organisation (SOBJO) achieved in 1979!
John walked 151 laps of the Jetty over 10 days, raising money for its restoration and future use after Cyclone Alby destroyed the first 700m of the original Busselton Jetty in April 1978.
From March 15 to 25 Busselton Jetty is challenging the community to walk as much as possible with every lap able to be sponsored similar to a school lapathon and proceeds going to the BJEF. Those wanting to be part of the event will have access to their own fundraising platform online making it possible to record your walk anytime, anywhere with one lap being 3.6km.
Participation will not only serve as a contribution to this fundraising event but will also allow the community to join the Family Fun Day on 25 March, at no extra cost!
