The team at Mr Barval is so excited to invite you to join them at their stunning Winery to try tgheir new release wines, enjoy beautiful food, music and art whilst overlooking the Calgardup Brook and Karri forest under the stars.
Cookdigs Mediterranean Meze will be serving up their scrumptious delights for you. Mr Barval’s had a sneak peak at the menu for the evening, and it is safe to say mouths are already watering in anticipation! Catering the SouthWest with local and seasonal ingredients with Middle Eastern influences and techniques, Cookdigs’ colourful creations will complement Mr Barval’s latest vintage wines perfectly. This will be finished off with delicious local artisan cheese boards.
With open arms Mr Barval welcomes Emjay Angeni who will be performing live this year. Melting hearts and capturing imaginations with her relaxed brand of coastal roots/pop, Emjay weaves a blend of her own original songs and interpretations of crowd favourites.
This year’s Dillybag Collective exhibition will continue to tell the ‘Colour Story’ from the women from the remote homeland communities of the West Daly Region of NT and will showcase this story told through the lens of the camera from the women as well as their traditional weavings, paintings, and traditional bush colour dyed fabric and screen-print designs. This is an eclectic mix of art that tells a very strong cultural story.
Joining will be 9 ladies traveling all the way from community to tell their story in person. The ladies will also be running a weaving demonstrations/workshop on Saturday morning and a ‘Yarn by the Fire’ ladies’ night at the winery on Saturday evening with tickets available online.
Tickets cover a glass of wine of your choice on arrival with all food and entertainment.
