Dig Deep Exhibition Opening Night
Description
Surrounded by the lands of the traditional Wadandi Pibleman people, Natalie Briney is drawn to observe the delicate change of seasons, the contrast of colours and the surrounds of the bush. A CinefestOZ, Margaret River HEART and Margaret River Open Studios collaboration.
Local artist Natalie Briney has developed a new body of work titled ‘Dig Deep’ for this year’s Margaret River Open Studios and CinefestOZ Film Festival Exhibition. Dig Deep is a reflection of working through the challenges of the past two years, not only globally, but personally.
Evolving from her previous style of ‘Pop Art Portraits and Pointillism’ to a much more raw and emotive style, without the constraints of set line, shapes or images. Expect works reflecting the natural earthen tones of the local surrounding areas, inspired by the amazing beaches, sunsets and bushlands of the traditional Wadandi Pibleman people.
