Origins Market Busselton Tour
Description
Get a behind-the-scenes look at a uniquely Western Australian farmer’s market.
Showcasing more than 50 makers and producers in an indoor climate controlled building, Origins Market is your one stop shop for a day out in Busselton.
Tour guests will be met at the Information Desk by a guide who will explain the cultural significance of the building and especially curated art installations. You will be introduced to local farmers and makers who will share their stories, offering samples of honey and cheese as well as wines, ciders and spirits. Observe artists and makers in residence from weaving and sewing to painting and candle making as well as the ever-popular viewing window of the candy shop. Kids and adults alike will be amazed by the indoor observational beehive where you can get close up to the bees busily at work.
After your welcome tour, you are free to explore the Origins Market stalls, which are jam-packed with handcrafted souvenirs & gifts, freshly made and ready to eat street food, classic and artisanal gelato flavours, fresh produce & picnic food, ice cold pressed juices & granitas, chocolates and house-made cakes – plus an onsite tavern pouring craft beer and a selection of local wines & spirits. Enjoy the plentiful seating or choose a picnic to take away.
