Siobhan Cotchin at Settlers Tavern
Description
Honest, raw and real – Siobhan Cotchin has proven herself to be a talented songwriter. Paving the way for the country-grunge genre, the 22 year old, multi-award winning musician has a writing style that echoes the effortless musing of Phoebe Bridgers and a live performance as gusty as Joan Jett.
Siobhan Cotchin’s accolades and powerful compositions are reminiscent of a songwriter much deeper into their career. Sharing stages with Leon Bridges, Bob Evans, Spacey Jane, Stella Donelly, The Whitlams, Thelma Plum, The Teskey Brothers and many more, has allowed her to blossom into a trailblazing artist within her own right.
2022 has seen Cotchin emerge as a nominations leader for this year’s WAM Awards, picking up nods in the following categories: Best Country Act, Best Music Video, Best EP, Best Vocalist and The Grant Samuels Award for Best Lyrics.
Coming off the back of a wildly successful BIGSOUND, Perth’s Siobhan Cotchin has returned with a stunning new piece of music in ‘How Does It Feel?’. With the release of the single, Cotchin also shares the news of her national tour taking place in December and January with her full band.
