South West Charity Motorcycle Toy Ride – 2023
Description
This is a major fundraising event for The Salvation Army for their Christmas Appeal, supporting the local community.
This year is the 22nd year of the “Salvos Toy Ride” where hundreds of motorcyclists come to the southwest with the same intention: to raise money and donations for The Salvos Christmas Appeal which helps struggling families and children at Christmas time.
What to expect over the weekend (with the main event on Sunday 10 Dec):
- Ice cream van
- Santa appearances
- Music and DJ
- Sausage sizzle
- Raffle and auction

In 2022, The Capel Riders stepped in to play a big part in the Salvos South West Toy Ride alongside Colin and Kathy Spark. The mount raised during the 2022 event was over $16k + a van full of toys!
