Description
The Act Belong Commit Undalup Bunuru Festival will be held on Saturday, 24 February at Pioneer Park, Cowaramup.
The Bunuru Festival celebrates the South West’s rich Aboriginal cultural heritage, our beautiful country and pristine environment. Designed with children and families in mind, the festival offers a packed program of live music, workshops, kids activities, food trucks and stalls. Please view 2024’s program here.
If you or your family haven’t had the opportunity to connect with Aboriginal culture or music or feel the power of connection with place and country, this festival is the perfect introduction.
This is a smoke and alcohol-free event.
Shuttle bus service Margaret River – Cowaramup
Guests are encouraged to take the shuttle bus which will continuously run between Margaret River and Cowaramup, and bring a picnic blanket and sun protection to settle in for the day to enjoy the festival program.
The cost per passenger is $5 per person each way, regardless of age (infants in arms travel free) up to a maximum of $20 per family. Tickets can be purchased on the bus by cash or card.

Change of location advice – Thursday 22nd February 2024:
The weather forecast is predicting extreme fire danger for Saturday, which may result in a vehicle movement ban and logistical complications for hosting the event at its planned location of Riflebutts Reserve. Organisers have chosen to err on the side of caution and together with Undalup Association have a call to move the event to a new location. Pioneer Park in Cowaramup will be a beautiful space to host the event with easy access for families, plenty of shade and the purpose built stage for the exciting line-up of First Nations artists.
