Welcome to RAC Margaret River Nature Park, nestled amidst the tall timber of the Wooditjup National Park, just 2km from the Margaret River town centre. 

 Offering a beautiful nature-based eco-experience with a range of attractions and activities, providing adults and children alike the opportunity to holiday with nature and experience the vast beauty first hand.

Explore all the delights the great region has to offer including wineries and breweries, fresh produce, beaches, caves and other natural wonders. Be sure to gaze at the star-studded sky, toast marshmallows over a campfire, go for a bushwalk through the lush Karri, Jarrah and Marri forests or hit any of the awesome mountain bike trails right outside the gates. Whatever it is you’re looking for, you’ll be sure to find it here.

RAC Margaret River Nature Park also offers the perfect backdrop for the ultimate destination wedding. You and your guests get to enjoy exclusive use of the venue and all accommodation with a two-night minimum stay. The property can accommodate up to 140 guests and a further 100 on caravan and camping sites. The historical Wharncliffe Mill offers the perfect barn yard setting for a rustic-chic reception venue under the stars.

4 Bedroom Eco Lodge

Fully self-contained 4 bedroom Eco lodge, featuring a full kitchen and two bathrooms. Each room can be individually locked and can sleep up to 3 people per room (double bed and single bed). The Eco lodge has a large deck with BBQ and outdoor entertaining area, the loungeroom features air-conditioning and a log fire for colder nights.

The camp kitchen facilities, shared bathroom facilities and fire pits are located nearby. A private deck overlooks the forest.

Staff here were helpful and calm when on arrival our car broke down in the driveway blocking access for new arrivals. Can't thank them enough for their easy demeanour and helpful suggestions. The camp kitchen is well equipped and the undercover eating/entertainment area is huge. Amenities were always clean and plenty of facilities available. Can't thank the staff enough, and the coffee on site was a bonus.

Stayed in one of the new Safari tents at the park. Great accommodation for 4-6 people (adults and kids) with the double bed and 2 bunks. Facilities well maintained for the kitchen and ablution blocks. Very close to Margaret River town, walkable if you don't mind walking a couple of clicks through the bush track.

Situated just outside of Margaret River, this campground is nestled amidst the natural beauty of the bushland. It offers spacious and comfortable campsites, along with excellent amenities. The friendly and welcoming staff are always ready to assist guests. Please note that all roads within the park, including the main access, are unpaved and may need to be considered during rainy weather.

Google is only allowing me to give 4 stars, because I can’t comment on the rooms & service requirements for the survey. We’re here in a camper trailer. It’s so nice to have a campground with full facilities; but in the bush with large campsites. Fantastic hikes & mountain bike trails well marked out. Fun exploring activities for kids in school holidays. There’s no pool, but you really don’t need it with so much else to do in the area. If you’re a little less mobile, I’d suggest asking for a campground closer to the new ablutions block. My only negative is that paths to facilities aren’t easy to navigate or well lit.
