Created in 1996, Stella Bella is the heart and soul of southern Margaret River.
The charming little cellar door is located just minutes from the Margaret River town centre. You are invited to taste, experience and enjoy their Luminosa, Suckfizzle and Stella Bella wines with their passionate and knowledgeable staff. You can also bring a picnic and enjoy wine by the glass in the vineyard.
Stella Bella, meaning ‘Beautiful Star’, began in 1996 with the creation of the Suckfizzle vineyard wines and today is rated amongst the best wineries in Australia, setting the benchmark for producing southern Margaret River wines. We embrace old school winemaking with a thoughtful approach to modern techniques to capture the individuality and personality of our vineyards.
The small team who bring these wines to life is led by Chief Winemaker Luke Jolliffe and Viticulturist James Hayward. Focusing on a meticulous vine by vine approach to viticulture that respects the natural environment by a focus on modern regenerative farming and precise cultural techniques to maximise the flavour of our grapes.
Stella Bella’s five small distinctive vineyards are located throughout southern Margaret River, an area of our region chosen for its cool climate and ability to produce elegant, aromatic and medium bodied wines with personality and precision.
