Picture-postcard Bridgefield Guest House is the iconic landmark at the entrance to Margaret River town, her heritage being the oldest guest house on the Margaret. Situated in the main street of Margaret River town, within a short stroll of galleries, shops and restaurants, as well as river walk trails.
At Bridgefield Guest House, the beauty of the old includes the lovely warmth and romance of a winter log fire, matched by the modern comforts of reverse-cycle air-conditioning and individual ensuites with modern amenities including wireless internet.

Bridgefield has seven guest rooms to offer, in the ambience of a gentler age. Bridgefield's Queen Rooms with ensuite have their own private covered garden courtyard, with individual tea- and coffee-making facilities. The cosy Cabin is free standing with a lovely patio area. For a little bit of extra indulgence, the Champagne Room offers a Spa and lovely Balcony. Downstairs from the Champagne Room, the Merlot Room adjoins a beautiful lounge area with Chesterfield lounges, a kitchenette and a pot belly stove for those cold winter nights.

Two independent restaurants - La Scarpetta Trattoria and Pizzica offer, of an evening, authentic Italian cuisine and are situated within the guest house. In the original guest house, the guest lounge offers opportunity to meet fellow travellers, perhaps over a classy Margaret River red in the cosy warmth of a Winter log fire, and with the parliamentary privilege of doing so from an original circa 1904 backbench from the upper house of the Western Australian parliament. Alternatively, in the lounge, DVDs are available to borrow without charge.

Original Margaret River’s unique character and charm, Bridgefield Guest House, looks forward to making your sojourn in this extraordinary Region even more memorable. You will be warmly welcomed at Margaret Riverside Accommodation’s reception, which is located just across the street, at Adamsons Riverside Accommodation.

Beautiful colonial era accommodation in a beautiful setting. Five minutes walk to the old heritage site and forest walking trails. Five minute walk to the Hairy Marron Cafe and bike hire place. Very close to town centre, and everything is walking distance. Room was gorgeous, some review it as outdated, but I loved it. Clean, spacious, firm bed, closets and the bathroom was perfect. Only downside to the place is the noise from the restaurant next door, which usually ceases by 10pm. Bring earplugs if seeking an early night. Fireplace in communal lounge area would make for a lovely evening in the winter

Beautiful guest house, very secure. Stayed in Room 4 and had a wonderful time. Hot water in the shower was a little variable. Otherwise an incredibly lovely place.

Such a cute little place. Check-in was smooth once we found reception (across the road) My partner and I stayed for only 2 nights, we booked a small room, I cant remember the name, but it was a shared kitchen sort of area and our own room. It's in the most perfect location! Everything Is in walking distance so we got a lot of excercise in! The only complaint would be the bar thats locared quiet close and you can hear everything until about 11pm (not a huge issue, it isnt unbearably loud)

What a cute little place! My husband and I stayed in the Forrest View Suite for 6 nights and loved it. Fantastic for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The whole suite was neat, clean and very charming. The room itself got quite cold overnight but the electric blanket worked a treat. The kitchen was fabulous and we were able to cook full meals when we didn't feel like going out. The location is excellent and everything on the main street is within walking distance. The restaurants next door are both lovely but the staff do like to hang around after work, so be aware that there may be some noise in the evening. Overall we loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back.
