Point Road Campsite is a small, sheltered four-wheel-drive only campground set amid peppermint woodland, on the fringes of the majestic Boranup Karri Forest.
This campground, on the edge of the magnificent towering Karris of Boranup Forest, is accessible only by 4WD vehicle. It is an 'open' campground - without separate individual campsites - that can accommodate seven tents and small 4WD campervans.
Generators are not permitted.
Campfires are usually permitted between April 15th and November 30th - in the provided fire rings only - but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood.
When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Campers' own liquid or gas fuel BBQs, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).
Bookings cannot be made. The campground, like the whole of the South West Capes area, is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.
Visitors can access the Cape to Cape Track from this campground.
Camp fees per night - $11 adult, $7 concession cardholder, $3 child (over 5 and under 16 years).
