In the local Noongar language, Maya means House. The Maya Homestead is the original farmhouse, with a modern makeover. It has two dwellings: a main house and an annexe, about 5m apart, joined by an verandah.

Such a beautiful property and Sheila, the property owner, was so lovely with our requests! Highly recommend staying here. It’s particularly amazing for groups - we had the Maya Homestead and Kanana Chalet and both were incredible with great views and fantastic facilities.

I recently stayed at Redgate Forrest Retreat with my two adult children. Everything about it was amazing. We stayed in Kanana house which is the most private and I think has the best view. Sheila was wonderful and gave us the rundown on everything. Every little detail has been carefully thought of. My 19 year old daughter absolutely loved it. Would happily stay here again.

Our Christmas was magical at Maya. We stayed 4 nights, family of eight 8 and 2 dogs. Sheila is wonderful.We didn't want for anything. Will absolutely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful place. Than you Sheila for allowing us to stay at your gorgeous property.Regards Robyn and Family

We had four nights here staying in the Maya house. This was a family get together after a wedding in the Swan Valley. Thoroughly recommended. Everything was perfect and a lot of thought had gone into providing all the things you need. As a bonus, there is some cows and sheep which is fun for any children.
