The Augusta Margaret River Shire is serviced by dedicated well trained emergency service volunteers, Bush Fire Brigades, volunteer Fire and Rescue Service and State Emergency Services. These groups are supported by the Shire and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES).
