The pristine Dunsborough Foreshore is an idyllic place for a beach day, with extremely calm waters protected by sand banks close to the shore.

The old boat ramp is a hive of fun in summer, as families flock to enjoy the large swimming enclosure and pontoon (seasonal). Enjoy a BBQ or picnic on the grassed areas or the beautiful white sand beach. Stand up paddle boarding is perfect for these sheltered waters, and equipment is available to purchase or hire during the warmer months.

I have lived in Perth for 10 years and I am ashamed to say I have never been to Dunsborough, this is about to change. It is such an amazing place and the beach is one of the best in WA, it is fantastic if you have young children as it never gets deep. I can not wait to return.

So easy to get to in Dunsborough! Great spot to realize where you are in the world or just to walk your dog. It is a gathering place, a meeting place, a place for children and oldsters, a place to celebrate and care for, a place to meet yourself against the ocean and watch the rivulets of time and tide.
