The DCC was opened on the 29th December 1973. Trading under a tavern license, it currently has over 700 members and provides for men’s and women’s lawn bowls, croquet, tennis and golf and for children’s and adult mountain-bike riding and mind sports such as Mahjong and Canasta.
The DCC relies on volunteers from all facets and stages in life to manage the affairs of the club and to maintain the infrastructure of the club.
The Club invites you to become a member. They offer a selection of sports both competitively and socially. Play and then socialise at the bar and enjoy a meal.
The club is also available to hire for special events such as dinner functions, meetings, weddings, birthdays and entertainment.
Juniors are encouraged and presently participate in organised tennis, golf and bowls activities during season.
