Looking forward to welcoming you to the new Cellar Door. ‘Matilda’ the resident Tiger Moth will greet you at the door. Take in the story of Brian Edwards and his flight to honour his Bomber Pilot Father and raise money for Legacy. Hear about their Underwater Wine lying at the bottom of Flinders Bay in Augusta. Book a seated flight in the ‘’Wings’ or lean on the bar and enjoy the extensive views. Look up and admire the builders Craftmanship on the ceiling. The renovated hangar houses the Works of photographer Russell Ord and other local artists.
Edwards Wines Cellar Door is situated a short 7 minute drive North West of Margaret River on the corner of Caves Road and Ellen Brook Road. Producing Estate grown varietals Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet. With new plantings of Merlot, Grenache, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The winery honours the story of founder Brian Edwards who set out on an epic adventure in a tiny Tiger Moth (Matilda), flying solo from Binbrook in England (where his Father was last posted before being declared MIA in WW2) to Perth, Western Australia. Brian, swayed by his passion for Shiraz and the potential he saw in the Margaret River region, then began to follow another dream. Discovering a property where he could firstly land Matilda and secondly plant grapes. What started as a simple tree change grew into a thriving family business. Fast-forward 5 years. The Edwards family have partnered with the Walsh family who have a long history in the area. The Walsh and Edwards family now continue the tradition of high quality and leading by example in the Wine Industry. Enjoy the picturesque views across the Vineyard, admire the new building and learn about the Underwater Wine lying at the bottom of Flinders Bay in Augusta. The team have created a Cellar Door masterpiece to pay homage to Brian, Matilda, their journey and inspirational wines you will want to share with family and friends.

I think we have a new favourite winery in Margaret River!
We used to drink Edwards Wines some years ago, so we're excited to see a reopening of the cellar door. Wow!
As an aviation buff, I loved the concept and the history - it shows the passion this family have for all that they do.
Wines are spectacular - we didn't book, however, the staff were terrific (and happy birthday to the lady who served us). We learnt a lot about the wines we were tasting.
We will most certainly return - both for the experience and the wines.

Such a great place to sample excellent wines. Recently opened, I suspect Edwards is going to become the next big thing in Margaret River.
An amazing cellar door, through which you are immediately confronted by a bright yellow airplane. The very same one Brian Edwards flew from Australia to England. Strewth.
The wine we tasted was excellent. Guided, superbly by a lovely Scottish woman. She is an asset to Edwards.
Highly recommend that you visit here when you are next in Margaret River.

Wow exceptional new cellar door, only opened 2 months ago. Amazing story, very friendly owners and quality well-priced wines. Sure to become the next big thing in the Margaret River once the secret gets out!

Visited this beautiful winery on our recent trip down south! Edwards Wines It’s def one of our favorites! We stopped in at the end of the day with our kids and Fiona was so friendly and lovely! I sometimes cringe when taking my 3 year old to nice places! She even let both kids sit in the beautiful plane ‘Matilda’ 💛 and also helped carry our purchases to the car! Wines were amazing and will def be back 🙌🏻💛
