My best friend and I had a beautiful afternoon at Rivendell today, the outlook was gorgeous, it was peaceful and the food was delicious. We ordered the grazing board with twice cooked lamb to share, and we couldn’t fault it. The lovely waitress brought all our wine tastings to our table while we dined and Boomer the winery dog came over for a cuddle. Darren and Celia are very gracious hosts, the wine was amazing, we will certainly be back!

Visit Rivendell and enjoy a drink of your choice surrounded by beautiful gardens. The grounds are filled with beautiful greenery and lush gardens as well as a natural playground for the kids to amuse themselves. While you are visiting you are welcome to wander through the onsite art gallery, browse the shop and taste wines from the premium, boutique Estate range.

Come in to have a chat at the cellar door while tasting a few wines and get an insight into every day life at a winery. Rivendell is a small, family run business with hands on management by Celia and Darryn. Gourmet grazing board as well as a limited lunch menu is available to enjoy on the deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and valley beyond or as a picnic on the lush, green expansive lawns. The cellar door and gardens are dog friendly and children are welcome. The playground now has a range of new, fun activities for the kids to enjoy including tight ropes and swings.

Rivendell is a private estate that provides all that is required to enjoy an intimate, secluded and unique experience in the south west. The estate's cellar door is newly refurbished and doubles up as a function centre nestled in the extensive cottage gardens. The expansive lawns are ideal for wedding ceremonies and garden receptions.

Ten holiday villas are available for hire on site and are generally advertised through the winery website and bookings are available via online platforms.

Cannot recommend this winery and the team here enough! Celia the owner gave us exclusive use of the venue for our party and it was the most unbelievable afternoon. We all enjoyed being under the shade on the beautiful terrace overlooking the grounds. The food was also 10/10, an incredible spread for our party. Thank you so much Celia and the whole Rivendell team! You made our trip and everyone has spoken about it since.

Amazing place. Grazing board was awesome. You have to try the peri peri chicken. Great selection of wines also Staff were so friendly and the resident dog Boomer was a gem A must visit when in the region. We will be back and with friends

Visiting Rivendell was an absolute delight! The serene vineyard setting offered breathtaking views, creating a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing wine tasting experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, offering insightful details about each wine we tried. The facilities were well-maintained, and the garden it’s extremely beautiful.
