The Wayfinder Cellar Door & Restaurant in Dunsborough offers the opportunity to taste Wayfinder wines paired with fresh, seasonal fare straight from the market garden. A wonderful hybrid, you can enjoy a cellar door tasting in the front or indulge in the full experience, wining and dining with friends in the farm-to-table restaurant.
Walk in the main entrance and you'll see a wine-tasting bar where you can sample wines from Margaret River and Tasmania. The rest of the downstairs is dedicated to casual dining, with an extended wine list featuring select European imports.
While the plans are being finalised for a winery and rural cellar door on the vineyard in Cowaramup, the Wayfinder Cellar Door & Restaurant is the perfect place to taste sustainably-focused, boutique wines from Margaret River and Tasmania as well as enjoy delicious, designed-to-share meals paired with wines from Australia and abroad.
Taste Wayfinder (WA), Swell Season (WA), and Small Wonder (TAS) wines at the bar then venture further into the restaurant which is all about farm (and sea!) to table. The food is simple but beautiful, full of fresh ingredients and flavour, offering pleasure without pretence. The menu is designed to share but if you're not one who likes to share (and that's OK!), the menu is flexible enough to provide you with options that count as individual entrée and mains. Chef Felipe has also aimed to hit the mark with plates that meet a range of dietary requirements all in one.
Although walk-ins are welcome, we recommend you book ahead to avoid disappointment.
