Adventure Sailing offers a range of experiences and courses, using a beautiful fleet of traditional sailing vessels around the pristine waters of Busselton Jetty and Geographe Bay.
Come and learn to sail with one of Adventure Sailing's accredited instructors. Their experienced team of instructors will keep you safe while you discover the joys of sailing and see the Jetty from a different perspective!

They are a fully approved Discover Sailing Centre offering Australian Sailing programs and full certification.

This is a sailing experience designed for people who wish to try sailing or to simply enjoy a day’s boating on the beautiful Geographe Bay.

You will be sailing a historic replica Couta boat. These beautiful vessels were originally designed as fishing vessels to tackle the challenging seas of the Southern Ocean. You can rest assured as to the stability and seaworthiness of these beautiful vessels. Why not get a group of friends together and book the boat just for you?

This is a sailing experience designed for people who wish to try sailing or simply enjoy an afternoon boating on the beautiful Geographe Bay.  Get a group of friends/family together and book the boat just for you.

Learn To Sail - Level 1

Learn To Sail - Level 1

Duration: 1-3 days

The first step on the sailing journey introduces you to the basics of sailing on a small keelboat, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory. On completion of this course you will be able to confidently crew on sailing boats and be a useful crew member instead of being just a passenger.

This course is the next step on your sailing journey. After completing Learn to Sail Level 1 you will be ready to take control of the keelboat and Start Helming. 

She Sails - All Female Sailing Instruction

She Sails - All Female Sailing Instruction

This course is designed for women who think they would benefit from learning to sail in an all-female group. Run by one of Adventure Sailing's highly experienced female instructors, they believe that women supporting women creates a learning environment that feels fun, safe and inclusive. 

Recreational Skippers Ticket ( RST)

Recreational Skippers Ticket ( RST)

Duration: Half day (up to 4 hours)

This is the most thorough recreational skippers ticket course in the South West, with the most experienced instructors.

The course takes 4 to 5 hours and includes: revision of the theory involved in the test, sitting the test, practical training in our boat and finally the practical assessment.  The assessment requires you to Pass (80%) a theory test and then display competence in a range of practical tasks. 

Adventure Sailing will prepare you for this assessment and will continue to work with you on theory or practical elements until you are ready to be assessed. You will train in their 5m Quintrex training boat, which is an easy boat to drive. They provide boat, fuel, lifejackets, instructors, test papers and certificates.

We've just completed an incredible 3 day "competent crew" course with Paul at Adventure Sailing based in Abbey in the South West. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable, an amazing teacher and gave us the confidence to crew our own yachts in the future. A very relaxing, yet informative three days. Could not recommend this three day course highly enough. Whether you're just starting out in the sailing world (like we are) or a professional sailor looking to hone their skills, Paul has the course for you!
